Janet Secor, D.O.’80

Janet Secor, D.O.’80, was awarded life membership in the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association (IOMA) during its annual conference and scientific seminar held in Des Moines May 4-7. The honor is granted by the IOMA Board of Trustees to regular or honorary members who are 70 and older and who have been an IOMA member in good standing for 25 years. Board-certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Secor has served as a family physician in Fort Dodge, IA, for the past 27 years and is an active medical staff member of Trinity Regional Medical Center. She also has served as an adjunct professor for DMU and has precepted numerous osteopathic medical students. IOMA represents the more than 1,000 osteopathic physicians practicing in Iowa.
