Don Peska, D.O.’75, M.Ed., FACOS

Don N. Peska, D.O.’75, M.Ed., FACOS, is the new interim dean and chief academic officer at the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM). He most recently served as the dean of the University of North Texas Health Science Center-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNTHSC-TCOM) from 2009 to 2017. He has held various leadership positions at UNTHSC-TCOM since he joined the college in 1982. During his time there, he established the TCOM Academy of Medical Educators, who were responsible for modernizing and integrating the curriculum and are attributed with the ongoing success of UNTHSC-TCOM.
