Todd Johnson, D.O.’00, FAAFP, was the featured “spotlight” Feb. 11 in the online Direct Primary Care Journal. The journal offers information, statistics and resources for physicians who don’t accept insurance and instead charge patients a monthly fee in return for unlimited access to their primary care services. Johnson is a board-certified family physician and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians with dual accreditation from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. He serves patients in his clinic, Access Family Medicine, in Lincoln, NE.
Johnson and a fellow DMU alumnus and direct primary care physician, Haseeb Ahmed, D.O.’07, M.H.A.’07, were featured in DMU Magazine and on the University website in 2017. Ahmed practices in Overland Park, KS.
