Troy Boffeli, D.P.M.’90, FACFAS, and Mark Goss, D.P.M.’15, co-authored the article “Distal syme hallux amputation for tip of toe wounds and gangrene complicated by osteomyelitis of the distal phalanx: surgical technique and outcome in consecutive cases,” published in the May-June 2018 edition of the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is the director of the foot and ankle surgery residency program at Regions Hospital/HealthPartners Institute for Education and Research in St. Paul, MN.
