Matthew D. Johnson, D.P.T.’08, M.H.A.’13, is CEO of the Cherokee, IA, Regional Medical Center. He was featured in the Sioux City Journal on July 25 in an article about “The Cherokee County Promise,” an incentive program for students that covers the cost of tuition and fees after financial aid has been applied for residents of Cherokee County enrolling in programs offered through the Western Iowa Tech Community College campus. In exchange for the financial assistance, students commit to working and living in Cherokee County for three years after they graduate. Johnson and his wife, Molly, have three children.
