Joel Post, D.O.’08

Joel Post, D.O.’08, practices with Beacon Medical Group Orthopaedics and Sports Specialists in South Bend, IN. He brings a new specialty to Beacon and to the Northern Indiana region with his additional training in musculoskeletal oncology. He sees both pediatric and adult patients with benign and malignant soft tissue and bone tumors. Post completed an orthopedic surgery residency at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital in Lansing, MI, and fellowships in orthopedic musculoskeletal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and orthopedic traumatology at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He has authored or co-authored several medical manuscripts and book chapters and has given lectures both regionally and nationally on various orthopedic topics. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, AOTrauma Association, Orthopedic Trauma Association and Sigma Sigma Phi Beta Chapter, also known as the National Osteopathic Honor Fraternity.
