Jesse Plasencia, D.P.M.’89, has been a board-certified podiatric physician with VNA Health Care in Aurora and Elgin, IL, since 2013. VNA Health Care operates 10 clinics in suburban Chicago and serves more than 72,000 patients. In 2018 the VNA Board of Directors presented him with the Helen A. Cearlock Award of Merit, VNA’s highest level of employee recognition, for exemplifying spirit, loyalty, truth, high standards, a love for learning and a commitment to the purpose of the organization. Award recipients are nominated by their peers.
