Erin Dohlman, PA-C’19, was one of three individuals credited for saving the life of a near-drowning victim at Lake Tahoe in Nevada in July. “We should all be proud and appreciative of the manner and spirit with which they all came together to save a family from losing a loved one,” said Washoe County, NV, Sheriff Darin Balaam after the incident. Dohlman, who said she “was just at the right place at the right time,” plans to begin practicing in vascular surgery at the Iowa Heart Center in central Iowa in September.
