Christopher Colbert, D.O.’03, FACOEP, FACEP, FAAEM, was recently appointed chair of continuing medical education for the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians (ACOEP). In April 2020 ACOEP held the first virtual emergency medicine conference, which addressed cutting-edge topics of emergency medicine and highlighted COVID-19. Dr. Colbert is the assistant director of the emergency medicine residency program and an assistant professor of emergency medicine at the University of Chicago and a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army Reserves.
