Emiko Ishihara, D.O.’14, M.P.H.

Emiko Ishihara, D.O.’14, M.P.H., joined Southcoast Health as a primary care physician at its Pequot Building in Dartmouth, MA. She completed her residency in family and preventive medicine at Loma University in Loma Linda, CA. While in residency training, she founded several programs, including a Employee Wellness Program and the Farmers Market Advisory Committee at SACHS (FQHC) Clinic in San Bernardino, CA, and a Family Preventive Medicine Livin’ It Program at Loma University and the Loma Linda Osteopathic Group. Board-eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine, Ishihara holds certification in Lifestyle Medicine Core Competency and the Suboxone Waiver. Her clinical interests include palliative and hospice care, employee wellness programs, HIV/AIDS management, weight management and diabetes prevention, osteopathic manipulation and acupuncture.
