Troy Boffeli, D.P.M.’90, FACFAS; Tyler Sorensen, D.P.M.’18, AACFAS; and Collin Messerly, D.P.M.’18, AACFAS, were among the authors of the article “A novel manipulation technique for Lapidus fusion in correction of hallux valgus deformity with underlying metatarsus adductus: a case series,” which was published in the March 2022 issue of the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Boffeli is director of the foot and ankle surgical residency program at Regions Hospital, HealthPartners Institute for Education and Research, in St. Paul, MN. Both Sorensen and Messerly completed that residency program. Sorensen now is a fellow at Weil Foot and Ankle Institute in Libertyville and Mount Prospect, IL. Messerly is a fellow in the Northern California reconstructive foot and ankle fellowship at Shasta Orthopaedics in Redding, CA.
