Kelly John, D.P.M.’99, M.H.A.’99, FACFAS, was among the podiatric physicians at OrthoIllinois and OSF Healthcare St. Anthony Medical Center who, along with podiatric medical students, provided foot care on April 14 to guests at Carpenter’s Place, a nonprofit organization in Rockford, IL, that serves people experiencing homelessness. It’s an annual tradition where volunteers wash guests’ feet, trim nails and provide necessary referrals for follow-up foot care needs. Guests also receive new socks and shoes.
Dr. John is a podiatric physician and surgeon at OrthoIllinois’ Rockford-Roxbury Clinic and a member of the DMU Alumni Association Board of Directors.
