Cynthia Jackson, D.O.’89, FAAP

Cynthia Jackson, D.O.’89, FAAP, in April 2022 joined the Institute for Advanced Clinical Trials (I-ACT) for Children as chief operating officer after more than 20 years in the pharmaceutical services industry. She most recently served as vice president and general manager, rare diseases and pediatrics, at Covance. At Quintiles Inc., she served as the global head of both the Pediatric Center of Excellence and the Rare Diseases Center of Excellence. Jackson has worked on projects in metabolic syndromes, immunodeficiency, vaccines, neurological disorders, pulmonary, gastroenterology, neonatology and oncology. She also continues as an adjunct assistant professor in the division of pediatric infectious diseases at Duke University Medical Center.
