Lezlie Painovich, D.O.’94, a primary care physician at University Health Services, University of Wisconsin-Madison, received the 2022 Preventive Medicine Residency Excellence in Teaching Award. She was recognized for her excellence in teaching with the same award in 2019. Earlier this spring, Painovich also received the Governor’s Pen for her work related to Dillon’s Law 2.0, passed this spring by the Wisconsin State Assembly to expand the availability of epinephrine auto-injectors for individuals having a life-threatening allergic reaction.
