Paul Benson, D.O.’78, in July was appointed to an Oakland County, MI, task force charged with responding to the monkeypox outbreak, as confirmed cases rise statewide and nationally, through education, coordination of care and vaccine distribution. Board-certified in family medicine and accredited as an HIV specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine, he is the founder of and medical director at Be Well Medical Center, in Berkley, MI.
