John Pappajohn’s service and generosity to Iowa have been enormous. Along with Mary, his wife, John was a pioneer in building Des Moines University’s Glanton Fund, which provides scholarships for minority students underrepresented in the health professions. John died today at the age of 94. All of us at DMU will miss his caring vision and constant support of our mission.
