Jorge Amaro, D.P.M.’19

Jorge Amaro, D.P.M.’19, joined the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in 2023 as an affiliate faculty member. He is a podiatric physician at the Foot and Ankle Center of Nebraska and Iowa, where he specializes in foot and ankle surgery. Board-eligible by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, he completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
