Chad Becker, D.O.’16, was named the 2023 recipient of the Iowa State University Alumni Association Alumni Humanitarian Award for his outstanding efforts to distribute medical supplies and food to the largest military hospital and children’s hospitals in war-torn Ukraine. A 2005 Iowa State graduate, Becker is an attending emergency medicine physician at UnityPoint Health in Des Moines and at JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, CA.
