Dustin Arnold, D.O.’96

Dustin Arnold, D.O.’96, chief medical officer at UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA, was named by Becker’s Healthcare as one of “180 chief medical officers to know” in 2024. The list recognizes leaders who champion patient safety, uphold rigorous quality standards, act as liaisons between leadership teams and medical staff, manage risk and drive continuous improvement. Arnold has served in his current role at St. Luke’s since 2012. He first joined the hospital in 2006 as medical director for the hospitalist program, then became chief medical information officer in 2011. He also is president of the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association and vice chair of the Linn County Board of Health.
