Brian Young, M.S.P.T.’96, D.Sc., FAAOMPT

Brian Young, M.S.P.T.’96, D.Sc., FAAOMPT, became chair of the department of physical therapy at Baylor University’s Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences on May 1, 2024. He has served as interim chair of the department since 2022 and on faculty as clinical associate professor since 2017. A fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapists, Young also has held several leadership roles, including assistant program director, graduate program director and director of curriculum. He previously served as an associate professor for the Army-Baylor Doctor of Physical Therapy program and the Army-Baylor doctoral fellowship in orthopedic manual physical therapy program.
