Christopher Collazo, D.P.M.’16, joined the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in 2023 as an affiliate faculty member. He is a podiatric physician at ORA Orthopedics in Geneseo, Moline and Silvis, Illinois, where he specializes in foot and ankle surgery. 

Dr. Collazo is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M International University and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University. He completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota, and then completed a fellowship in surgery at the Weil Foot, Ankle and Orthopedic Institute in Des Plaines, Illinois.
