Dr. Seth Quam is an assistant professor of osteopathic clinical medicine and a board-certified family medicine physician in the DMU Clinic – Family Medicine. Previously, he practiced at UnityPoint in Central Iowa after completing his family medicine residency at Des Moines’ Iowa Lutheran Hospital, where he was named Resident of the Year. He has served as a precepting physician for third-year medical students for more than a decade. He also has been a volunteer sports medicine provider for Dallas Center-Grimes and Woodward-Granger schools since 2012. Dr. Quam earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry, with a Spanish minor, at Central College and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Des Moines University.
