Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences recognizes the importance of having an active and educated student body in the election process and our goal is to ensure voter registration is made readily available. There are on-campus efforts to register students to vote and bring candidates and issues to our students in a non-partisan way.
To register to vote, a voter registration form must be completed and delivered or mailed to the county auditor’s office for the county where you live.
Voter registration forms are available through the following means:
- DMU’s Office of External and Governmental Affairs
- Polk County Election Office
- Dallas County Elections Office
Additional information, as well as registration forms and information about local election rules (including registration deadlines), can be found on the Iowa.gov voter registration website.
