Where do I go from here?
You will be pleasantly surprised in how many ways you will be able to use your new knowledge of medical terminology whether by reading the health columns in newspapers and magazines, watching your favorite TV medical drama or, more importantly, discussing your health problems with your family physician.
If you would like to learn more, check out medical terminology books at your local library or bookstore. There are many that vary in style from small, “programmed” self-learning texts to full-size texts suitable for an academic course. At least, add a medical dictionary to your personal library!
