Alan E. Einstein, D.O.’92, has been appointed to the board of CURE Pharmaceutical, a leading disruptive drug delivery technology company researching cannabinoid molecules for various health care applications. He practices at EMC2Care in Alpharetta, GA, and has numerous areas of medical expertise including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and thyroid and hormone metabolism disorders. Considered a thought leader in metabolic syndrome and its role in weight gain and overall health and longevity, he has also conducted extensive research utilizing umbilical cord blood stem cells, with an interest in Parkinson’s disease. He assisted Sen. David Shafer in writing and passing Georgia’s only cord blood stem cell bill and, in 2006, was appointed by Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue to the Commission for Newborn Umbilical Cord Blood Research and Medical Treatment. Einstein has presented to his medical peers at numerous medical institutions and conferences around the country. He is the grandson of famed physicist Albert Einstein.
