The faculty of the Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences program makes exceptional efforts to promote student study so that they graduate within four years in the program. All DMU faculty members keep an open door policy for student access. Although every Ph.D. candidate will work closely with (a) thesis advisor(s), any faculty member is available for help with relevant questions.

Our Mission: To train the next generation of biomedical scientists or physician-scientists who will improve human lives via contributions to scientific breakthroughs.

Our Vision: The Ph.D. Program in Biomedical Sciences at DMU will be recognized as a high-quality doctoral program that broadly trains biomedical scientists and physician/scientists.
