Physical therapy students gain relevant, hands-on experience in the Standardized Performance Assessment Laboratory (SPAL).

SPAL lets faculty assess Doctor of Physical Therapy students' skills, attitudes and provider/patient relationships in a real-world setting.

SPAL allows physical therapy students to enhance communication and diagnostic reasoning skills before working with patients in clinical settings.
